Seems vehicular deathmatch is the new craze.Might be because of the FPS space turning stale? Futuristic mechs allow for more abstract level and character design and less need for realistic ballistics, etc. Bit of a throwback.They've been smart about art, levels are just a whole bunch of pipes and boxes glued together with some variations in texture. Great for an indie dev and looks good. There's certainly wins to be had from a production pov when choosing more abstract designs, scifi setting is great for that.
